Services

Whatever goes on top, the prep is the same.

We install every major residential floor type across Montgomery County and north Houston — and we do the substrate work properly on all of them, because that’s what determines whether the floor is still flat in ten years.

Luxury Vinyl Plank & Laminate

Luxury vinyl plank is the most-installed floor in Montgomery County right now, and for good reason: it handles Gulf Coast humidity, survives kids and dogs, and goes over a properly prepped slab without the movement problems solid wood has here. We install click-lock floating systems and glue-down LVP, plus laminate when the budget calls for it.

Included in scope

  • Slab moisture testing before a single plank goes down
  • Floor prep and self-leveling where the slab needs it
  • Tear-out and haul-off of your existing floor
  • Transitions, thresholds, and quarter round
  • Furniture moved and put back

Tile & Stone

Tile is where installation quality shows up most. Lippage, uneven grout lines, and a shower that leaks in three years all trace back to rushed prep. We set tile over properly flattened substrate with the right mortar for the material, waterproof wet areas to code, and lay out the pattern before we start cutting.

Included in scope

  • Substrate flattening to tile-industry tolerance
  • Waterproofing for showers and wet areas
  • Large-format, herringbone, and custom layouts
  • Natural stone sealing
  • Demolition and disposal of existing tile

Hardwood Installation

Hardwood in this climate lives or dies on acclimation and moisture control. We let material acclimate on site, test slab and subfloor moisture before install, and choose the fastening or adhesive method that matches your substrate — which on most Montgomery County slabs means engineered plank glued down, not solid nailed over a sleeper system.

Included in scope

  • On-site acclimation before installation
  • Moisture testing of slab and subfloor
  • Solid nail-down and engineered glue-down
  • Stair treads, risers, and custom nosing
  • Trim, transitions, and finish work

Hardwood Refinishing

If your wood floors are structurally sound and have enough wear layer left, refinishing costs a fraction of replacement and takes a few days. We sand to bare wood, repair damaged boards, and finish with low-VOC waterborne or oil-modified urethane depending on the look and cure time you need.

Included in scope

  • Dust-contained sanding
  • Board replacement and repair
  • Custom stain matching
  • Waterborne or oil-modified polyurethane
  • Screen-and-recoat for floors that aren't ready for a full sand

Carpet & Subfloor Prep

Carpet still makes sense in bedrooms, media rooms, and rental turns. We install carpet and pad with proper power stretching so it doesn't ripple in eighteen months. We also sell floor prep as its own scope — grinding, patching, self-leveling, and moisture mitigation — for builders and other trades who need a slab brought to spec.
